IDA offers, in the first half of next June, 3 million m2 with the industrial developer system in Ismailia and Port Said Governorates. IDA aims at providing serviced industrial lands to the new projects of which expected investments reach LE3 billion and provide 30.000 job opportunities. The offered lands are divided into 2 million m2 in Abu Khalifa industrial zone at Ismailia and 1 million m2 in the new industrial zone South Raswa at Port Said.
Concerning Ismailia industrial zones IDA Chairman, said that 173 projects are on the waiting list with LE8 billion expected investments, providing 33.227 job opportunities. LE81 million were granted to Abu Khalifa industrial zone from IDA Fund for Supporting and Developing the industrial zones, in addition to LE13 million to the industrial zone East Qantrah.
Regarding the new industrial zone South Raswa at Port Said, 150 projects are on its waiting list with LE1.5 billion expected investments, IDA Chairman Added. Moreover, Port Said Governor approved the operation of the industrial wastewater plant during the coming period to end the problems of the industrial zone South Port Said. In Addition, all investors are obliged to set up industrial wastewater plants in their projects according to the environmental conditions.
