1- Announcement about start of industrial zones development in the official and international newspapers. An invitation to specialized companies is to be published on IDA's website.
2- Specialized companies are to apply for registration in the industrial parks, including: (financing, contracting, design & management, export, maintenance companies and manufacturers) by filling out a fully documented registration form on IDA's website, to express desire to participate in the zones offered for the new generation of industrial parks program under PPP. The application is to be sent either by e-mail or courier.
3- The applying specialized companies will be requested to register in IDA's records under the number and date of registration in the developers' records at IDA and their entitlement to apply for prequalification, according to the suitability of available experience data in the field of specialty.
4- Specialized companies are to be invited for prequalification in the fields of developing and servicing industrial zones through completion of prequalification documents.
5- Studying and assessing the prequalification documents submitted by specialized companies for initial qualification in accordance with agreed technical and financial standards and in light of its specialty and experience.
6- Terms of reference (T.O.R) are to be sent to qualified developers.
7- Eligible specialized companies are to be notified about the locations of lands provided for development to make field visits. The notification is to be supported by the relevant terms and instructions necessary for submitting their proposals.
8- Specialized companies are to present a detailed technical & financial statement on the chosen site, based on T.O.R, to IDA whether it is a consortium or one company.
9- Proposals are to be technically, financially, and legally studied to choose the best.
10- Contractual measures are to be taken in collaboration with the general department for legal affairs.
11- After finishing contractual procedures, the land will be handed over to the general developer with necessary utilities on the external land borders, according to the agreed timetable. 12- 12. The general developer is to finance, design, establish, promote, sell/lease lands to manufacturers and maintain industrial park.
