Egypt has many industrial factors such as capital and the cheap and abundant labor due to the government’s strenuous efforts to encourage investors by granting them numerous facilities and creating a suitable investment climate. Egypt also possesses the necessary means of transportation as it has an efficient communications network that facilitates conveyance of goods and products to the local and world markets.
The raw materials required for manufacturing are also available in Egypt including vegetables, fruits, cotton, flax, sesame, sugarcane, beet, in addition to dairy products and leather. Egypt has a huge mineral wealth of zinc, lead, chromium, iron, nickel, tungsten, phosphate, basalt, aluminum, coal, sulfur, salt , manganese, kaolin, tin, graphite, quartz, lithium and potash which are all used in various industries.
Egypt exerts intensive efforts to maximize its industrial wealth. The industrial sector had implemented investment projects of LE6.8 billion, including LE4.3 billion by the private sector.
