Chairman of the Industrial Development Authority (IDA) and rear admiral / Mustafa Ahmed El Said, Aswan Governor, signed a cooperation protocol in the 19th of February 2009 in order to complete the infrastructure of the industrial zone in Alalaky Valley. IDA will subsidize the governorate with LE 5 million in the first stage from total LE15 million allocated for the zone paid on phases from the Fund of Subsidizing and Utilizing Industrial Zones.
IDA Chairman declared that the executive bureau for projects affiliated to the Ministry of Trade and Industry will follow up the executive works of the zone infrastructure's progress.
IDA Chairman also added that IDA's regional office in Aswan will receive all investors' complaints without IDA's headquarters supervision so as to achieve decentralization. In addition, the governorate's administrative board will have the right to grant immediate industrial approvals for the industries listed under (non intensive energy) and established inside the industrial zones
Aswan Governor indicated that the industrial zones' subsiding from the Fund of Subsidizing and Utilizing Industrial Zones will increase the productive industrial projects in the governorate.
