 IDA drew a public lot on 54 land plots on an area of 118.000 m2. These lands are parts of the lands withdrawn from unserious investors in both Badr and New Demeitta Cities.
Minister of Trade and Industry, said that the investors greatly embark upon these lands to establish new industrial projects all over the industrial zones. The ministry set the regulations and mechanisms to stop land freezing to provide lands for the serious investors,
The Minister added.
IDA Chairman pointed out that 253 investors submitted their requests for 54 land plots of which 46 are in Badr City with 183 requests. 8 land plots are in New Demeitta City with 65 requests to establish 54 enterprises in the fields of building materials, chemicals, engineering, food and textile industries. These enterprises will provide LE300 million investments and 12.000 job opportunities.
