Minister of Trade and Industry, Dr. Ezzat Abdallah, Bani Souif Governor, and Chairman of the Industrial Development Authority (IDA), opened 3 new factories working in the fields of drying the agricultural crops, fertilizers, reclaiming lands and agricultural manufacturing in the industrial zone in Biad Alarab in Bani Souif. The project's investments estimated at LE110 million and with production capacity of LE 48.5 million annually.The
Minister set the cornerstone of the first zone for Ceramic, marble, granite and calcium carbonate.
The Minister also visited Biad Alarab industrial zone's factories' products exhibition which includes the food products, drying natural crops and chemical industries. He also indicated that LE137 million introduced to the Fund of Developing, Utilizing and Promoting the Industrial Zones affiliated to the ministry in order to complete and utilize the industrial zones in Bani Souief and included 77 new industrial zones in Kom Abou Radi.
The visit also witnessed signing a protocol between IDA and the Governorate of Bani Souief about empowering the authority to issue the immediate approvals to establish the existing non intensive energy industrial zones (A) including 565 industries by the same stipulations and conditions in the ministerial decree no. 825 for the year 2008.IDA
Chairman affirmed that the protocols comes within the ministry policy to facilitate procedures.
