Ministry of Trade & Industry started offering the 2nd stage General Developer of establishing industrial complex on an area of 15 million m2 with investment cost of L.E30 billion and provide 135.000 job opportunities in the industrial zones of Borg Al Arab, El Sadat, 10th of Ramadan, Ismailia & East of Port Said.
 This comes within the framework of the Ministry's plan of setting up integrated industrial complexes for providing lands necessary for the industrial expansions. This stage covers the industries of food, spinning, textile and building material, since they are labor-intensive industries.
Chairman of the Industrial Development Authority (IDA), Eng. Amr Assal, stated that since the announcement of offering the 2nd phase on 16/10/2007, 40 companies were submitted till now , nine of them are foreign companies.
Assal announced that the industrial zone of Wadi El Teconologia at East of Ismailia established on a total area of 720 K.M2 so as to set up an integrated civilized complex in the field of scientific research & High-Tech industries, besides establishing an industrial zone at East of Tafriaa with the cooperation of the Ministry of Transport.
It is noteworthy that the total land area allocated for industrial developers in the 1st
phase came to 17 million M2 distributed to the 10th of Ramadan, 6th of October & Borg El Arab industrial zones with total investments of LE34 billion .
