  • The previous table indicates the following:
  1. There is a difference between local and world prices in favor of local prices.
  2. Local prices had greatly increased during the months of September and October then returned to the normal prices.
  3. World prices exceeded the maximum price (LE4000) and it is expected to be raised more in January 2008.
  4. There is a relation between local & world prices since the raw materials ' prices and specially Balliet is raised during the last three months since the average price of the Balliet ton raised from $ 520 in July to $525 in December.
  5. The difference rate between the local price and the world price ranges between (8.6-13) % in favor of the world price for the armed iron.
