Peru to host 5th International Fair EEC 2013 next Sept.
The Peruvian capital, Lima will host the 5th International Fair (EEC) during the period from 5 to 7 September 2013. The Fair aims at promoting the efficient use of energy, renewable energy, biofuels, waste management and sustainable buildings as mechanisms to promote energy efficiency, lower costs, and competitiveness of industrial and service companies, so as to contribute to the care and preservation of environment. The event will have conferences, business meetings and exhibition of the modern technologies used in this field. The conferences will deal with the issues related to energy use efficiency, renewable energy, biofuels, waste management and sustainable buildings. The Fair will also display stands of the suppliers of goods and services related to energy use efficiency, clean energy, renewable energy, waste management, sustainable buildings, and environment preservation and protection.

	The Industrial Development Authority (IDA) hosted on Sunday, 21 April 2013, the "Industrial Zones – Future of Industry" conference, presided by IDA Chairman Dr. Mahmoud El Garf, in cooperation with the Arab Organization for Industrial Development & Mining (AOIDM). The conference witnessed the opening of the Arab Workshop for Industrial Zones Planning, Management and Promotion Strategies, attended by Eng. Saleh El Geghdaf, Manager of AOIDM regional office in Cairo, with the participation of more than 20 trainees representing the industrial sector in the sisterly Arab countries to benefit from the Egyptian experiences in the field of the modern industrial zones' planning, management and promotion strategies, specialist industrial clusters and industrial developer system application.
