Within the framework of The Ministry of Trade and
Industry's concern to enhance the participation of the
local, regional and international private sector in the
new generation of the industrial complexes, IDA starts
to offer the Third phase with an area of 10 million m2
in the cities of Borg Al Arab, Sadat, 10th of Ramadan to
establish industrial services zones with the general
developer system. It starts in 25th of March 2009 with
LE6 billion investments providing 18.000 job
opportunities over 7 years, IDA Chairman, IDA Chairman stated.
IDA Chairman added that the services provided by these zones include the industrial storage of the components, the final product and the stock management, besides the transportation, assembly, repacking and wrapping. In addition, these zones provide stores for cooling and freezing as well as the freightage and exportation services. The zones also offer the banking, finance services and the administrative buildings.
These industrial services zones will be available to the companies and entities that have the previous experience in developing one or more connected or separated industrial services zones with the recent international systems,
IDA Chairman stated.
Furthermore, IDA Chairman indicated that the terms of reference will be provided only in IDA. The deadline for receiving the offers will be the 25th of May 2009. The offers that contradict with the terms of reference will be refused.
