New Industrial Project with LE200 mln in Kafr Al Dwar

Minister of Trade and Industry, accompanied with Rear Admiral, Mohamed Sharawy, Beheira Governor, set the foundation stone of the industrial project of textile , weaving and garments in the unused lands at Kafr Al Dwar for Textile and Weaving Company with LE 200 million and provides 2500 job opportunities.

Chairman of the Industrial Development Authority(IDA), Eng. Amr Talaat, the Head of the Executive Body for Industrial Mining Project ( the executive authority) besides members of People and Shoura Assemblies in Beheira Governorate.

The Minister  pointed out that the government plans to renew Kafr Al Dwar as an international industrial zone for textile, weaving and ready made garments. the minister added that the government also will encourage the agricultural investment in Natron Valley and Nubaria.

IDA Chairman stated that this industrial cluster aims at using lands and workless industrial energies in Kafr Al Dwar in order to revive the industry of weaving and textile in a modern way.

Eng. Amr Talaat, reviewed the executive volume of the industrial complex's establishments in kafr Al Dwar confirming that the infrastructure of the first stage with investment of LE 45 million was finished which includes the out roads. He added that the joint roads on the North International roads and the electricity and water connection are under construction. Talaat also pointed out that the zone includes 44 factories, 28 factories are under construction on an area of 130.000 m2 with LE375 million investment providing 6250 job opportunities. In addition to allocating 16 new projects on an area of 97.000 m2 with LE 280 million and providing 4600 job opportunities.
