Within the framework of Ministry of Trade and Industry's visit accompanied with Chairman of IDA, and Mrs. Sahar Al Salab, Assistant Secretary of Minister of Trade and Industry for Development and Investment to the under constructed Mall of Arabia on Thursday 1-10-2009, the minister declared that both the president and the prime Minister pay special attention to provide more lands to execute the interior trade development. The State plan aims to set a comprehensive plan to establish new markets, centers and trade zone nationwide.
Ministry of Trade and Industry added the ministry's plan includes establishing 15 trade zones and markets. In addition to developing trade in the governorates through opening trade centers besides encouraging Egyptian and foreign investors to invest in the interior trade and providing more job opportunities.
The Minister also indicated that the investment development plan's aims are raising the rate of the sector's growth to 8% instead of 4%, increasing investment to LE 25 billion, providing 2.8 million job opportunities.
