Cooperation Protocol between IDA and the Canadian Chamber of Commerce

IDA signed with the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in 14/4/2009 a cooperation protocol to fulfill the needs of the Egyptian industry development all over the country. The Protocol also dictates the availability of the technological and technical field support for industries and projects.

 IDA Chairman stated that this protocol will participate in granting the projects the competitive advantages necessary for their success. The protocol also helps in introducing the industry and the Egyptian industrial products to the world so as to increase the exports to the international markets especially the Canadian ones, in addition to attracting and encouraging the industrial investment in Egypt.

The Head of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce, Dr. Fayez Ezz El Dean stated that the main aim of the cooperation protocol is to remove the impediments that face the Egyptian investment. Moreover, IDA and the Chamber will adopt all the problems of the businessmen with the different governmental institutions and boards to solve them, Fayez pointed out. They will also provide consultations in the fields of marketing, production, management and training for small and medium – size establishments.

Signing the protocol comes within the framework of the efforts exerted to achieve the goals of the Egyptian industry strategy especially during the world financial crisis and to increase the industrial exports from LE18 billion to LE75 billion.
