The Chairman of the Industrial Development Authority (IDA), accompanied by Eng. Nehad Ragab, Chairman of Pyramids Company for developing industrial zones, signed on Sunday 5-7-2009 the contract of establishing the company of Pyramids zona Franca which contributing in Konsertu Azona de Franca at Barcelona Spain ( the greatest industrial developer in South West Europe) in order to develop new industrial community with LE2.4 billion on an area 2 million m2 providing 20.000 job opportunities.
Ragab indicated that the project aims at creating integrated and developed ideas for the investors, introducing Logistic and social services, providing financial and commercial services in order to raise the slogan of "Industry is the Growth Engine".
Eng. Ahmed Sultan, the General Manager of Pyramids Company, pointed out that the project's target is to establish 96 establishments including ready lands for sale, ready factories for small and medium industries in addition to warehouses, administrative and trade units for rent and sale besides social and residential services.
