Services provided by the Industrial Development Authority (IDA).

Third : In the field of approval of establishing or modifying industrial projects and registration in the industrial registry

Documents required :

1-  Operating license issued by the district concerned or a letter stating that the operating license issuance is in process.
2- An evidence of starting operation before 5/12/2005 (electricity or water bill - social insurance - telephone
3- Commercial register
4- Tax card
5- Approval of Environmental Affairs Agency .

6- Labor insurance receipt

7- Approval of Civil Defense

8- Company contract in case of partnership

9- Official proxy or authorization letter accredited by the bank.

10- Submitting originals of documents for sight.

11- If the project lies outside the district, a letter is requested from State Property Department or the last payment receipt.

12-  Submitting a statement of conditions adjustment from the Ministry of Agriculture for clay brick factories.

13- The applicant should be the person concerned or holding an official proxy / authorization letter certified by the bank.

Executive Measures:

1- The investor is fill out and submit the application form (No. 11 – conditions adjustment) to the industrial licensing department for approval of the project establishment (available free of charge).
2-   The investor is to be referred to the industrial registry department to present a request for obtaining industrial register and fill out form No. 7 (1) for registration in the industrial registry.
3- Issuing a cash delivery order of the costs of registration in the industrial registry (LE205.40) to be deposited at IDA’s treasury or at the account No. 509, Maglis El Shaab Post Office, for the benefit of IDA.
4-   The file is to be referred to the central department for technical affairs to carry out inspection through the competent technical department. The inspection report is to be prepared and attached to the investor’s file. On the basis of technical opinion, the following will be done:
 

A- For industrial registry:

1. The industrial registry department will issue a registration certificate valid for 5 years if there is a permanent operating license to be handed to the investor

2.  OR

3.  A temporary letter valid for 6 months if there is a letter stating that the operating license issuance is in process.

B-  For approval of the project establishment:

1.  The Industrial licensing department is to issue a cash delivery order of standard costs, according to the factory’s area calculated at 100% of the area.

2.  The investor is to pay determined cost at IDA’s treasury or at account No. 509, Maglis El Shaab Post Office, for the benefit of IDA.

3.  The deposit receipt is to be delivered to the industrial licensing department to be attached to the factory’s file.

4.  Issuing approval of setting up the project. The approval will be handed to the investor and the original will be sent to the competent city bureau. Three copies of approval will be sent to the General Authority for Standardization & Quality Control, the Industrial Control Authority and IDA's general department for industrial registry.
