Services provided by the Industrial Development Authority (IDA)

Third : In the field of approval of establishing or modifying industrial projects and registration in the industrial registry

Obtaining the establishment registration certificate (valid for 5 years) in the industrial registry in case of permanent operating license.	5- Service Provided :
Within 4 days of establishment qualification by the competent technical department and provision of all requested documents.	Accomplishment Period:

Documents required :

1- Copy of IDA's approval of the project establishment.
2- The operating license issued by local administrations, quarters, or new cities' councils.

3- The company contract, companies' transcript, investment transcript or the Official Journal in case of joint stock or limited liability companies.

4- Commercial registry certificate (valid).

5- Labor' insurance certificate (Insurance Form No. 2) or last payment receipt
6- Membership certificate of establishment in the Federation of Egyptian Industries.
7- Copy of technical assistance contract or engineering designs and drawings of the industries specified by the competent technical department (certified and authenticated).

8- For some industries, relevant approvals (approval of each industry) are to be attached to documents (as indicated below).
9- Certificate of the product's conformity with standard production specifications (in case of products necessitating specifications).

10-Standard costs of certificate are to be paid.

Industries requiring special approvals:

1- Factories of fodders, fertilizers and extraction of oils unfit for human consumption (valid licenses and records issued by the Ministry of Agriculture).
2- Cosmetics & pharmaceuticals factories (valid licenses and records issued by the Ministry of Health).
3- Salt refining, grinding & packaging factories (copy of the valid salt supply contract between establishment and supplier).
4- Service & maintenance centers:
- filling out the activity practice application form.

- Copy of an accredited proxy from the producer to the owner of service & maintenance establishment & industrial registry of the productive establishments doing maintenance works of their products.

Executive Measures:

1- Filling out the application form (No. 7) for registration in the industrial registry and submitting it to IDA's one-stop window.
2- Standard costs are to be paid.

3- The application will be referred to the general department for industrial registry to be revised before referring the file for technical qualification.

4- IDA's technical department will inspect and qualify the establishment and send the technical opinion to the general department for industrial registry.

5- After technical qualification of establishment, the general department for industrial registry will issue a temporary registration certificate (valid for 5 years) in the industrial registry (in case of providing all documents and permanent operating license).
